4. List the layers of the biome and describe the plant life in each layer.

The Wetland Meteorologist

Read through your task below.

1. Write a paragraph describing how the biome affects the adjacent land.
2. Select a body of water or wetland and create two graphs - one that shows the average annual temperature and one that shows the annual average precipitation.
3. Write a paragraph describing the climate of the biome. Include temperature and precipitation information.

 

The Wetland Zoologist

Read through your task below.

1. Find pictures of 3 species of biome animals. Describe the level of the biome that is their home.
2. Describe a 4-level biome food chain.
3. What is camouflage? Describe 2 biome animals and their method of camouflage.
4. What do you think is the most unique biome animal? What makes it so unique?

3. Write a letter  to address the concerns in your biome to one of the following:

2. Compare the native inhabitants to current residents.
3. Find at least three pictures that reflect the culture of both native and current inhabitants of this biome.
4.  Optional:  Interview at least two of the current inhabitants for radio or television.
