Curriculum Alignment Worksheets

Prepared By CESA 10
NCSC

This set of worksheets provides the user with each of the ITLS content and performance standards and offers the user space to identify grade levels, activities and local objectives that reinforce each standard. We consider this a rudimentary tool for evaluating curriculum in terms of how a specific component of the ITLS is being taught, practiced, or assessed.

The second set of worksheets provides our interpretation of how some of the specific performance standards within the core curricular standards support, and are supported by, the ITLS. We have condensed some of the language of the standards to save space. This worksheet also provides ample space for the user to include information on how the local curriculm supports these standards. This is a much more comprehensive document and we hope it supports discussion and integration efforts in districts across the state. Please note that there is much room for local interpretation and adaptation when considering these alignments and we offer this content only as examples of possible associations that can be made.
