Water Milfoil
                            by M.J.

The water milfoil is yellow, green, and white. It has leaves and flowers. The water milfoil lives in water, and it needs water and sun to survive. The water milfoil is an herb and people harvest it to use it on food. Water milfoil lives for nine months. It is also a producer which means to give something to others.  In this case, the water milfoil gives us herbs to use. The leaves on the water milfoil are 4-12 cm long, and they are different, so they have wider segments then other plants leaves.  The flowers on the water milfoil are 4 inches, and they bloom in June and  and die in September.
