Golden Rod

                                 The golden rod is about 20-25 cm high.
      The golden rod has yellow flowers and is beautiful in the summer.
       The leaves are smooth and sometimes they have toothed or jagged
edges.
 The golden rod flowers bloom in the autumn and the summer.
      Other facts- There are 60 different species  of the golden rod. It is the state flower for Kentucky and Nebraska. It is related to the daisy and the dandelion.
    Some people brew the leaves to make tea . Some can make oil. It is also one of the favorites in America.
      I am in 6th grade and I am doing a project
