Bugleweed
The bugleweed has a lot of other common
names like the buglewort, gypsyweed, wolfoot, and other creative
names.
The bugleweed can be found in wetlands between Canada
and Florida to Missouri to Nebraska.
The bugleweed can be from 6 inches to 2 feet high. The
leaves are about 2 inches long and narrow. The color is dark green or purplish
green. You'll find it around July, and it lasts till about September. This
herb has a mint like smell but tastes bitter. The whole entire herb is
used, mostly for medicines.
