Termites

Every termite is a plant eater and many feed on decaying wood. Some termites eat mushrooms and other disgusting things. They are able to digest a carbohydrate called celluose found in plants because of bacteria found in their intestines.
Most termites live in West Africa in fungus gardens. Sometimes their nests can be up to 15 feet. Termites' nests are simply made out of wood.
Termites are very round in shape. Their weapons are their powerful jaws. Termites can stretch from 5mm to 22mm in length.
All termites are related to ants and they are also related to cockroaches. After the king and queen mate, they stay together and have their babies. Termites are growing at a rapid rate.
