JASON Expedition 04-05
CESA 10 SciMaTech/Title IIA/VA/GT Project
One of our world's unique ecosystems is threatened! Work with REAL scientists in the Louisiana Bayou doing REAL research that applies to YOUR neighborhood. See what new features have been added to make JASON easier and more fun than ever to integrate into your classroom!

The JASON Project engages students and teachers in an exciting journey of discovery as they use their math and science skills and understandings to explore a unique ecosystem and make local connections.

Educators receive a uniquely written curriculum during one of several JASON inservices offered through CESA 10. Students and teachers have access to an award winning interactive website (www.jason.org) that provides everything from simulation games, information and a photo gallery to live chats with the Expedition researchers. Each teacher then utilizes the available resources based on district curriculum and student needs. Beginning this year, teachers may also continue involvement in previous JASON expeditions (see Online Store at www.jason.org)

Students may participate in a one hour live telepresence that will visit the bayous of south Louisiana. They also explore a variety of hands-on stations facilitated by student leaders from our local Argonaut teams. Cost is $4.00 per student.

To reserve your slot, contact Gerri Bresina at (715) 720-2048.
